Excellent watch - Typical Tag quality, accuracy, and dependability
Author's Rating:
I've had this watch for about 5-6 years. My particular model also has the 18K face in addition to the 18K and stainless bezel. My model also cam with a leather strap. As always, TAG has a winner on its hands. I love the rock solid dependability and accuracy. I was amazed how thin it was. A lot of the other quartz models that TAG makes are quite a bit beefier than this model. However, that hasn't made a bit of difference to the watch. It just keeps on going. I've swam in the ocean, ridden motorcycles, gone camping, ridden bicycles, and just about anything else you could throw at this watch and it doesn't seem phased. My only gripes? Well the leather band wore out after about 2 years. TAG doesn't put ultra high quality leather bands on their watches. That's okay, I forgive them. I went out and bought a hight quality Hirsch Rally band and it doesn't show any wear after three years. I suspect it will last another 3-4 years. The only other complaint is the magnifier over the date. My tired old eyes still have a hard time reading the date. But that's strictly subjective. Would I get anothe one? Absolutely. Would I recommend this one or any TAG. Absolutely! TAG's are the dirty little secret of the high end watch world. You can spend a whole lot more and get the same quality (if not less). I like and admire Rolex. But give me a TAG any day.

A Classy Watch for Work or Play
Author's Rating:
I've had this watch for 5 years and, except for cleaning (which is a bit expensive at about $200) it has been a joy. It is classy and durable...I'd buy it again if anything happened to the one on my wrist right now!
