See Review Apple Imac

Author's Rating:   5

Pros:  style, reliability

Cons:  Some software

The Bottom Line:  This pc is definately worth the money

Review:  Well let's see... It looks wonderful, so good that it qualifies for some sort of design award with the 24"screen reducing the relative size of the surrounding white bezel that houses the necessary hardware so that everything looks perfectly in...  Read Full Review  by hodgey87, Jun 2, 2008

See Review It looks pretty but making it work is another issue

Author's Rating:   3

Pros:  All in one design, price, and look

Cons:  3rd party software limited, functionality, and see below for more details

The Bottom Line:  If you love one type of pie, go Apple, if you want options, go Windows.

Review:  I will be the first to say it looks beautiful. The screen appearance is gorgeous unfortunately the applications aren't so much. I really wanted Apple to work for me. I purchased the iMac after years of working with Windows. I utilize a PC with...  Read Full Review  by topher73, Jul 8, 2007

See Review 20 year vet of Windows going to Mac. In a word, WOW.

Author's Rating:   5

Pros:  Gorgeous form factor. Ease of use, interfacing a breeze. A creators machine.

Cons:  2 512 meg sticks of ram instead of 1, 1 gig stick. ram expensive.

The Bottom Line:  The Imac is great if you do not upgrade because you would be so close to a Mac Pro. Carefully configured a great buy. The best first family computer.

Review:  I am vet of Windows since the beginning of 3.1 and have gone up to Xp Professional. Using my latest AMD Athlon 2100+, which now is a dinosaur. Up to now, the Xp machine had been good until it started crashing and locking up. I found out I had a bad USB...  Read Full Review  by vincedog3, Jul 4, 2007

See Review Once you go iMac....

Author's Rating:   5

Pros:  Too, too many to list. See review body.

Cons:  No tv tuner option. Apple-installed memory upgrade is pricey.

The Bottom Line:  I will never go back. Sorry PC.

Review:  You have got to test drive a 24-inch iMac. If you're in the market for a new desktop, you owe it to yourself to head to your nearest Apple Store and behold this magnificent beast. To see is to believe its gorgeous 24-inch display, fast Intel Core 2...  Read Full Review  by hamsinn, Oct 31, 2006

See Review Giant Screen is a Window to a New World

Author's Rating:   5

Pros:  Giant, bright, high-resolution screen. Screen spanning. High-performance multitasking. Easy migration from older Mac.

Cons:  Expensive Apple memory upgrade."Black"is fairly bright. Tricky mouse control; non-obvious right button.

The Bottom Line:  Treat your eyes and your precious time to the big screen experience.

Review:  I decided to spring for the 24"Intel iMac because the one complaint I couldn't solve any other way was screen real estate. Articles will tell you that a big screen is really worth it, for the productivity and the enjoyment. Boy, are they right! When...  Read Full Review  by MaxWebster, Dec 3, 2006
