One of the best products to come around in decades
Pros: Works better than advertised. Great product with great sound
Cons: None
The Bottom Line: null
Review: I found this to be one of the best inventions in decades. I use mine not only for music, but for storing misc files. Steve Jobs and Company has done a great job at designing and marketing a great product. Keep up the good work... Read Full Review by semimba, May 25, 2008
Apple will not stand up for their product .
Pros: Small and holds pictures and lots of songs.
Cons: Warranty is no good.
The Bottom Line: null
Review: I got the ipod nano for Christmas and like it, small , holds pictures and lots of songs. You have to download the software off the internet and for dial up it takes a while. The itunes software seems to have problems and keeps locking up my computer. My... Read Full Review by icwhite, Apr 11, 2008
Waste of Money and Poor Customer Service to Boot!
Pros: battery life
Cons: reliability customer service price
The Bottom Line: null
Review: My first Ipod nano lasted 6 months. The latest 3rd generation 4 gb lasted 1 month. Sent it back as it was dead and they sent it right back saying they couldn't duplicate the problem. Called back as it was still dead. They then stated that they... Read Full Review by puddleracer, Apr 2, 2008
Pros: lightweight design, easy to navigate, holds many songs, movies, tv episodes
Cons: have to pay for each individual song you want, the earphones aren't the best quality
The Bottom Line: null
Review: I got this for my birthday and it is amazing how something so tiny can hold so much. It is perfect for me because I don't think I will ever be able to fill it up with all my songs. I love how you can watch your favorite episodes of most anything on tv... Read Full Review by hthr, Mar 23, 2008
Pros: The earbuds fit perfectly regardless of ear size. Loads of capacity. Great screen
Cons: The back scratches easily
The Bottom Line: null
Review: I have had an ipod Shuffle before the nano and there is no comparison. The nano is great with its display screen, the ability to watch movies and such a HUGE capacity for songs and media. I also owned a sony mp3 player at one point and took it back... Read Full Review by katelyn000000, Feb 21, 2008
Pros: Reliable and Effective
Cons: Lack of sound quality compared to competitor brands.
The Bottom Line: Its a good audio performer, nothing out of the ordinary. Though good itunes platform to listen songs to.
Review: The Ipod Nano is the latest version of this popular portable music player released by Apple Mac. It plays mp3s and a number of video formats. However given the hard-drive space you would have to replace the one movie you can store if you want to watch a... Read Full Review by costas1234, Feb 23, 2008
Apple Nano; You're the One That I Want oo,oo, ooooo!!
Pros: Great little size, perfect for the music-lover that doesn't have to maintain a huge library.
Cons: Not enough storage for multi-videos. Buy a larger capacity iPod if that's your intent.
The Bottom Line: After owning a 60GB iPod I'm spoiled by the movies it holds but, if I were looking for a music only iPod for traveling, it's THE one that I want.
Review: I have a 60 GB iPod that I love and always have with me. My youngest daughter purchased a 30 GB iPod about half a year ago. I am very impressed with it and if I were going to purchase an iPod, that would be the one I would choose, even over the 60Gb that... Read Full Review by popsrocks, Jan 6, 2008
Pros: new, small, with lots of capabilities
Cons: Doesn't support older operating systems even though they aren't outdated!
The Bottom Line: null
Review: Got this for Christmas, but haven't been able to use it. Does not work with Windows 2K. Itunes Requires XP or Vista. Download older version of iTunes(compatible with win2K), and it isn't supported by the iPod. Very disappointed with Apple and the... Read Full Review by tazfreak, Jan 2, 2008
iPod Nano: Music, Video, and Podcasts to Go!
Pros: Size, screen, sound, most everything!
Cons: Lack of video support beyond the Apple world.
The Bottom Line: From the ease-of-use, small size, great picture, great sound, and easy synching with my iTunes, Apple outdid themselves on this little device and it comes highly recommended!
Review: Having downloaded 1,000’s of songs onto my computer’s iTunes and enjoying them for quite some time, I began burning them to CD’s to listen to in my car. I really began enjoying the portability of my music and started looking around for a portable music... Read Full Review by brentp256, Jan 2, 2008
the Shuffle's big brother that you can't do without
Pros: small size, styling, user interface
Cons: the thin, squarish design is a tad hard to hold onto
The Bottom Line: You don't need a Macintosh to enjoy the elegance of an Apple media player/ipod. iTunes works on PC's.
Review: My wife bought me a 3rd gen silver Nano 4 GB for Christmas. Superficially, this thing is beautiful and cool looking, much better looking than the previous iPods. The Nano is a media player and will allow you to listen to music/podcasts, watch TV... Read Full Review by jdl1138, Jan 1, 2008
Pros: It's so cute!
Cons: It's too small!
The Bottom Line: null
Review: I got this as a gift (Nov 2007) The only other MP3 player I've had is the iPod shuffle (the one that's shaped like a pack of gum). I never felt like I could get a good grip on this; it just felt TOO slim and small. Also, you can't change the font... Read Full Review by auntmei, Nov 17, 2007
The Little Digital Media Player That Could
Pros: Plays music, photos, and video in a tiny package.
Cons: Expensive cable required if you want to show video on a TV.
The Bottom Line: The top digital media player gets better with addition of video playback. 4-8GB is just enough space for your favorite songs and a couple of TV shows/video podcasts.
Review: Any company with a category-leading product, such as the iPod nano has to look ahead to the always coming product improvement hurdle. Time the jump wrong and another product takes the lead. Apple is keenly aware the track is lined with one hit wonder... Read Full Review by green-z, Sep 16, 2007
