Pros:  the store is close enough to return it

Cons:  cost of gas to the store is rising faster than black and deckers quality control

The Bottom Line:  null

Review:  I cannot believe they still stock this product. Black and decker should get out of the small appliance business. Only reason I keep getting a replacement is I bought a replacement warranty on it. However, after the third time returning for a new one ,...  Read Full Review  by jim24, Feb 28, 2008

See Review ALMOST SET MY KITCHEN ON FIRE

Author's Rating:   1

Pros:  A simple, clean design - easy to use and at a low cost.

Cons:  Shoddily made, shorted electrical circuit.

The Bottom Line:  null

Review:  You get what you pay for! Wanted a low cost toaster oven with simple design and this one almost cost me my kitchen. Apparently, the thermostat was broken in this cheaply made toaster oven, and it didn't know when to stop cooking. It shorted the...  Read Full Review  by alicew96, Dec 31, 2007

See Review CHEAP CHINESE JUNK

Author's Rating:   1

Pros:  Bought on sale at Kohl's for $20; small footprint.

Cons:  Broke (bad on/off switch?)in only 5 months of light usage. Cheaply made chinese junk.

The Bottom Line:  null

Review:  I had a couple of the older style B&D toaster ovens with the push down lever on/off switch; a total work horse that lasted for years. We bought this loser of a toaster oven and it went inop after about 5 months of light usage. I think the on/off...  Read Full Review  by eopiner, Dec 21, 2007

See Review There has to be better Toaster Ovens out there...

Pros:  Toaster works fine, fast and convenient

Cons:  Oven part tends to burn, temps not accurate, crumb tray not removable

The Bottom Line:  This toaster oven is more hassle than it is worth. Don't buy!

Review:  Wedding present gift We put this Toaster Oven on our registry at Bed Bath and Beyond. Black and Decker is a reliable name and the Toaster oven on display was easy to use and it seemed like it would be a great buy. (I had always wanted a Toaster...  Read Full Review  by djningr, Sep 11, 2007

See Review Bake? maybe toast

Author's Rating:   2

Pros:  Convenient count down toast function.

Cons:  Loses lots of heat all over machine, especially though front.

The Bottom Line:  Recommend for general use, light baking or reheating. No serious stuff here.

Review:  I bought this in the absence of my beloved Samsung Microwave/Toaster oven which went dead after a year. I decided I didn't want to spend too much money on another model. I am disappointed that this unit does not get as hot as the bake feature claims...  Read Full Review  by pinkqueenroyal, Mar 26, 2007

Pros:  Works fine for toast or little pizzas

Cons:  Cheaply made,High risk of fire. Similar have been recalled. Consider a better brand

The Bottom Line:  null

Review:  Oven worked fine. Used it all the time. But I kept it clean and tryed not to leave the room while toasting. Good thing. I never thought it would happen to me. Author's Rating:   4

Pros:  It DOES have a chime. Toasts well. Used it thoroughly.

Cons:  Couldn't find one in over 4 years!

The Bottom Line:  null

Review:  I've had this Black&Decker for almost 4 years and never had a problem with it. It works well even now, but because of the wear&tear, we got a new one (KitchenAid). Still, we're keeping this as a backup or if more"oven"is needed. The colors...  Read Full Review  by mnkhaki, Dec 21, 2006

See Review Black&Decker should be ashamed of this product!!

Author's Rating:   1

Pros:  Rack pulls out when you open the door.

Cons:  Toast fair but setting not consistent for 1 slice versus more. Baking - burns everything.

The Bottom Line:  Anyone who buys this model is making a mistake, it does not perform well.

Review:  I have never owned a Black&Decker toaster oven. I've always had other brands, but my sister has had several Black&Decker and was always pleased with hers for toasting and baking so when I started to shop around for a replacement for my"dead"...  Read Full Review  by adp-ky, Mar 5, 2006

See Review Black&Decker Toast-R-Oven - Heats up my buns, burns my britches

Author's Rating:   3

Pros:  toasts and bakes as expected

Cons:  No done chime or removable crumb tray, not the most accurate temperatures

The Bottom Line:  Your basic toaster oven, nothing more, nothing less. Good for students or single dudes.

Review:  Anyone who has read my reviews knows that I dislike uni-appliances: those appliances that have 1 and only 1 function. Electric can opener opens cans. A toaster only toasts. And don't even get started on electric bagel slicers. So when my wife suggested...  Read Full Review  by jkafer, Jan 9, 2006

Cons:  Poorly designed on switch; no warning bell; interior not non-stick; crumb tray not removable.

The Bottom Line:  Don't buy it; poor quality.

Review:  I bought this toaster oven to replace a reliable GE we had for more than 20 years. I'm not interested in using this appliance as an oven or broiler, and wanted a relatively small footprint.
