Review: I purchased the Chefs Choice Heart Shape Waffle Maker 830 a year ago. It was a gift for my husband. I knew that he liked Belgian Waffles. It was a Valentine's Day gift. How perfect, since the waffles are heart shaped. It was a unique and practical gift... Read Full Review by dondilyn, Mar 30, 2003
Pros: Cleans easily. Makes great waffles. Audible signal. Visible light
Cons: Slow warranty replacement. Breaks easily. Poor customer service .
The Bottom Line: I recommend the appliance if you can buy locally with return privledges. If my experience with factory replacement is status-quo, you will appreciate a local return policy.
Review: Decent machine. Produces great waffles when it works. Cleans up like a champ and easy to understand instructions.( What could be difficult about understanding waffle making instructions) :-). Pros: Beeps AND lights up when done, cooks ultra fast, easy clean, floating hinge, 1100w power
Cons: price, outside metal casing gets hot, smallish waffle.
The Bottom Line: Buy it because it has everything: alerting beep, helpful green and red lights, easy clean exterior, non-stick, floating hinge, ultra fast, high wattage for quality waffle

restaurant quality belgian waffles from my husband?
Pros: high wattage (1100) makes a crisper belgian waffle
Cons: not everybody likes a crispy belgian waffle
The Bottom Line: If you want to make restaurant quality waffles at home, you have to have the wattage. This waffle iron has the bare minimum.
Review: I spent a month eating at an inn that had a restaurant style belgian waffle maker. Those waffles were crisp, hot, and delicious every morning. After we left, the memory of those waffles visited my table every morning. When I saw the price tag on... Read Full Review by sofarsogood, Oct 27, 2001

Cons: can only make one at a time
The Bottom Line: null
Review: The Chef'sChoice Model 830B is the best waffle maker that I've ever tried. It has 4 heating elements vs. the traditional 2 which means the waffles will be cooked more uniformly and you can better adjust how you want the waffle to be baked. ... Read Full Review by Maxedge, Nov 10, 2000

Cons: awkward cord storage
The Bottom Line: Wonderful to use, but ours didn't last more than 2.5 years.
Review: All right, so it's a heart-shaped waffle. Just serve'em whole and pretend it's a weird clover shape or something. Trust me - it's worth it. The Choice My fiancee and I had toyed with the idea of getting a waffle maker for a... Read Full Review by owling, Dec 27, 2002
