I CAN'T IMAGINE COOKING WITHOUT IT
Pros: Quick, blades have stayed sharp, looks stylish
Cons: Due to its design, it cannot hold liquids without spilling through the bottom.
The Bottom Line: null
Review: I bought this as a gift for my husband, but I have since become addicted to it. It does everything a food processor should, slicing, grating, mixing and so on. I have found it to be reliable, and have had no problems with it in the three years I have... Read Full Review by jessicalamay, Feb 3, 2007
Works great - easy out of the box; makes cooking fun again!
Pros: Does it all! Sturdy, reliable brand.
Cons: Small bread batches, can't handle liquids, ice scratches bowl.
The Bottom Line: What a sleek, awesome cooking machine. Be sure you need this capacity... then buy the best and never look back!
Review: This food processor (identical, in black) was a birthday gift from my mother six months ago. I was kind of wanting a blender, but when we got to the appliance store (Cayne's in Toronto), the display of"jumbo Cuisinarts"kind of sucked me in, and here... Read Full Review by j3fer, Jun 27, 2006
Pros: powerful, smooth, quiet
Cons: very short power cord, food lodges in spring loaded area of bowl
The Bottom Line: I'm sure the machine will perform well over the years. I just have to get over all the"improvements"the company made over the old model.
Review: I have had the same Cuisinart food processor for over 25 years and felt it was time for a new one. I was a bit disappointed at some of the changes they made over the years. The biggest problem is the VERY short power cord. I cannot use this machine now... Read Full Review by ella138, May 15, 2006
Pros: For the budget minded, you'll be blessed owning this wonderful model.
Cons: Doesn't have the Power Prep model's sleek front (easier cleaning and more powerful dough cycle).
The Bottom Line: null
Review: I've worked with several food processors models and sizes, for over 25 years. Cuisinart is by far the BEST and this model is a great VALUE and SIZE. Many Uses: Imagine kneading bread dough to perfection, in as little as 40 seconds! It easily mixes... Read Full Review by sharonanne2, Sep 19, 2005
Super Trooper in the kitchen patrol
Pros: Sturdily built, easy to assemble, great functionality. Easy cleanup, great power.
Cons: Sharp blades. Learn order to process ingredients in bowl. Careful not to scratch bowls.
The Bottom Line: null
Review: I purchased this 14 cup processor after seeing it in so many kitchens. Ina Garten uses one extensively on her cooking show, Barefoot Contessa, and trying to recreate her recipes by hand is not easy. I do not aspire to be a sous chef, nor are my chopping...
