Bowl Capacity: 7 Cups, 2 Speeds, Power 600 watts
The Cuisinart Pro Classic DLC-10S delivers all the power and performance youd expect from the Cuisinart name. This standard-capacity machine chops, slices, and shreds carrots and cabbage for coleslaw in a fraction of the time it would take to do by hand. The units reduced size and price tag make it perfect for smaller families or those who cook or entertain less frequently. The Pro Classic comes with a seven-cup clear work bowl, a clear cover with both large and small feed tubes, and a flat cover for use during kneading, mixing, or pureeing. Other attachments include a stainless-steel medium slicing disc, a medium shredding disc, a stainless-steel chopping/mixing blade, a plastic dough blade, and a spatula. The three-position lever switches from "off" to "on" to "pulse" in seconds

Replacement parts for Cuisinart DLC 10 E food processor
Pros: It is easy to use, motor held up very well.
Cons: Replacement parts cost 50% of a new machine today. Plastic parts break very easy.
The Bottom Line: null
Review: My food processor work bowl and large plastic cover has been broken for over 10 years. I'm able to use it as long I push on the top with my hands or at times with my chin. I wanted to order the replacement parts for the machine, since it works well... Read Full Review by elaxer, Jun 14, 2008
Pros: a true work horse!
Cons: only one I can think of is the base is very heavy.
The Bottom Line: null
Review: I love my cuisinart food processor. I got this model 10 years ago for my 1st married Christmas. Mechanically it still works like the day we got it. I do need to replace a piece to the lid that after 10 years of use has finally cracked. It was nice to see... Read Full Review by tnm1999, Mar 20, 2007

A robot to keep in the family for years to come
Pros: durable, minor model changes over the years, great kit of blades
Cons: flat cover not included with every model, bowl shows signs of wear
The Bottom Line: I lived without a food processor for all my life. But after only a year with it, I consider it is one of the essentials of the kitchen.
Review: Have you ever heard the word for“food processor” in French? It is a “robot culinaire” (a culinary robot , to translate it roughly). When I were young, my parents never bought a“robot culinaire”, so this object was, for a long time,... Read Full Review by transgenik, Apr 22, 2001

Review: A quick story before my review of my Cuisinart Professional Series Pro Classic Food Processor: This morning while tending to my small herb garden, I realized that my basil needed some pruning. After gathering a bowl-full of leaves, I... Read Full Review by Diane-E, May 28, 2000
Does most of the chopping work but not all
Pros: well constructed, chops up things to bits like it should
Cons: expensive appliance for the kitchen"toolshed"
The Bottom Line: null
Review: This cuisinart makes chopping a 3 second affair, most of the time. At a hefty price, this kitchen appliance is well built and well designed for making food preparation just a little easier. The strong plastic bowl locks into place on top of... Read Full Review by kfgecko, May 11, 2000

My Cuisinart is one kitchen gadget that doesn't collect dust!
Pros: very fast chopping and shredding, makes food prep fast and efficient, quiet, dishwasher safe
Cons: can take time to get the hang of using all parts, dangerously sharp parts, takes up lots of room in dishwasher
The Bottom Line: null
Review: I hate to chop, and rarely made recipes that required extensive chopping until I received my Cuisinart Pro Classic. Not being particularly mechanically inclined, it took me awhile to get the hang of using all the attachments, but with practice, food... Read Full Review by katemartin, Jan 19, 2000

Review: I received my Cuisinart food processor as a college graduation present back in 1982. Since then, I've used several times a week, if not daily. It has never given me any problems, other than when I get distracted and over-process my dish of the... Read Full Review by conradd, Dec 30, 1999
