Jack LaLanne’s Power Juicer
Pros: Extracts a lot of juice. Nice design. Healthy drinks.
Cons: Messy cleanup. Wish I could juice more before cleaning filter.
The Bottom Line: I definitely recommend this. If you have a large family it might get frustrating to keep cleaning filter during use.
Review: Jack LaLanne’s Power Juicer I purchased the Jack LaLanne’s Power Juicer with the high hopes of taking all the sugary drinks from my kids. I was on a diet program myself&did a lot of research about how bad refined sugar is... Read Full Review by opalbabe, Jul 31, 2008
Pros: Easy to use, easy to clean, makes wonderfull large amounts of juice. Very quiet!
Cons: Low spout(had to get a few shorter glasses).
The Bottom Line: null
Review: I purchased the power juicer at target after seeing it on t.v. It was to replace a crapy HB juicer that did not work well at all. This juicer is so worth the money. I use it at least once a day to make juice for myself and my kids. I also use the pulp... Read Full Review by mmbcstu, Jul 15, 2008
Power Juicer Pro, Not so good.
Pros: Easy to clean, quiet operation.
Cons: Hard to get juice from carrots and other fruits.
The Bottom Line: null
Review: I purchased the power juicer pro for my wife and was very dissapointed with the performance. The juicer had a hard time getting juice out of a carrot, it took like half hour to get one glass. At times the motor stopped and re-started it self. I called... Read Full Review by losyat, Jul 14, 2008
Pros: Looks Good from the outside
Cons: Flimsy plastic inside, doomed to break. Bad warranty.
The Bottom Line: null
Review: I have owned THREE of these. The first I gave away, upgrading to the wider spout. #2 broke after 1 year when plastic turning wheel cracked. When I saw they now had one made of"Stainless Steel", I ordered that, only to find out that the part which broke... Read Full Review by stealthlambie, Feb 17, 2008
Pros: Simple construction, appearance, size of opening for veggies/fruits, quiet motor
Cons: Operational noise, smell, mysterious green iridescent substance
The Bottom Line: Time will tell whether our experience was the exception or the rule for this juicer.
Review: Interesting that celery worked for one of the reviewers on amazon; we had trouble with the unit overheating and turning itself off on celery and even failing to juice green apples (though we eventually got it to chomp up Galas with some coaxing). We... Read Full Review by sam411, Jan 25, 2008
Good as any juicer, plus some flaws.
Pros: Fast, nice looking.
Cons: Small things slip through un-juiced, things bounce out of the top during juicing.
The Bottom Line: null
Review: The juicer works as well as any other on the market, but the large feeding tube is too large, so it makes the fruit jump and is too large for making a single servings. Also, and worst yet, the space between the feeder tube and the blade is a bit too wide... Read Full Review by j-hustles, Jan 21, 2008
Jack LaLanne Juicer Effective But Leaks

Cons: Leaking, no matter how tight the blade-disc is.
The Bottom Line: null

Pros: ease of use
Cons: poor quality
The Bottom Line: null
Review: I was really disappointed in this product it didn't even last a year, the plastic cracked and broke with no way to fix it or replace the part. I won't purchase another one I am looking for a more durable one. Too much money for as long as it lasts. Also... Read Full Review by terrilc, Oct 28, 2007
The Infomercials are Accurate :)
Pros: simple cleanup, fast, quiet, sturdy
Cons: a bit bulky
The Bottom Line: This is a great juicer, for it's ease of use and the quick cleanup.
Review: I have wanted a Jack LaLanne juicer since the very first time I saw the infomercial (which is quite a long time). I never actually needed a juicer though, so I never got around to buying one. I received my juicer as a gift and I have to... Read Full Review by insolentmuse, Oct 13, 2007
Defective peg which attaches to cutting blade. Cheap plastic. Can't be ordered.
Pros: Fast! Will go a long time before you must clean it out.
Cons: Is defective. Not versatile machine. Only juices. Sometimes clogs.
The Bottom Line: Dont Buy- buy another centrifugal brand for massive juicing. Machine is defective.. Warranty on parts is short. Remember, not all parts can be replaced.
Review: I have been juicing for over 25 years. I own 2 champions, a GreenPower twin gear and a Jack LaLanne. This juicer is a centrifugal. It is basically a spinning grater. The outstanding feature here is time saved. No time lost cutting your produce... Read Full Review by elgadaniel, Jun 18, 2007
Far From The Best - But Cheap Enough
Pros: Adequate performance; inexpensive.
Cons: Some bad design features; parts not available; messy to use.
The Bottom Line: Unless you do not want to spend twice the price of this juicer to get twice the convenience&quality, go for it! But beware if you need parts!
Review: I was recently given the Jack LaLanne juicer as a gift and I found it to be a mediocre juicer at best. This is not a very expensive juicer, so I suppose one cannot expect too much. The one really sore point I have with this company is that it is... Read Full Review by newtownbeans, May 19, 2007
Pros: none

Pros: Extracts more juice, price, looks, and ease of use. Competitive juicer twice the cost.
Cons: None considering the value for the money.
The Bottom Line: Unless you really WANT to spend more money buy this juicer.
Review: I researched juicers for a month because I was given a Champion juicer as a gift and didn't like the size, shape, and looks (it also costs three times as much). I bought this juicer because of all the other good reviews on this web-site and others. The... Read Full Review by jimmeso1, Jan 30, 2007
Pros: Quantity of Juice, Easy Cleaning, Large Chute, Quiet, Recipe Book
Cons: Plastic stains, Locking bar broke, motor seized up
The Bottom Line: null
Review: I bought a Jack LaLanne Power Juicer Express. The locking bar broke off the second day I had it. I got a New replacement juicer and used it for 3 days before the motor sized up on it. I only made a glass of juice each morning, so I dont think I was that... Read Full Review by amywheeler, Sep 3, 2006
A Few Items Left off from the Infomercial
Pros: Easy upper housing removal, reasonable power motor
Cons: Proprietary tool for dissassembly, low mounted spout
The Bottom Line: A reasonable choice
Review: This juicer is reasonable, and I would recommend it. The below also has a comparison to the Juiceman, one of two other juicers I have owned. This is a centrifugal juicer, which relies on a fast spinning cutting wheel attached to a fine mesh basket... Read Full Review by cookiecooky, Jul 11, 2006
Pros: Smooth juice, little pulp that you CAN use.
Cons: Not as quiet as advertised. Can throw fruit!
The Bottom Line: The Power Juicer is durable, hardworking and versatile. You can juice almost anything and there is NO waste.
Review: I bought the Jack Lalanne's Power Juicer after seeing the informercial several times. I have had experiences with other juicers and have not been happy with the amount of juice extracted, the wasted pulp and the terrible cleanup process. This one... Pros: Powerful, quiet, works as advertised, easy to clean.
Cons: The recipe booklets provided have no index, making it hard to find a particular recipe.
The Bottom Line: Buy it, you'll like it!

Pros: LARGE CHUTE. MINIMAL NOISE
Cons: YOU HAVE TO ACCEPT THAT ALL JUICERS ARE SOMEWHAT DIFFICULT TO CLEAN.
The Bottom Line: null
Review: It took a little time to figure out how to use the juicer, but once I figured it out, it was a piece of cake. I purchased this used, and needed the plastic receiver for the pulp. I'M STRONG TO THE FINISH CAUSE I DRINKS ME SPINACH...!
Pros: Powerful, quiet, large chute, dry pulp, great juicer.
Cons: Lots of parts to clean, forget using the base unit, juicing is expensive.
The Bottom Line: If you want a starter juicer this is an excellent choice. It's powerful, affordable and does what it says it will do.
Review: WANTED: WILL WORK FOR PRODUCE! $$$$$ WHY I BOUGHT IT: I sat intently watching the Jack LaLanne infomercial where Jack was promoting the benefits of his juicer."O.K., he's like 150 years old and he looks great!", I thought to myself. He seems to... Read Full Review by tayalynn, Apr 26, 2006
Pros: Large food chute, fairly quiet, stable, lots of juice
Cons: Not super easy to clean, takes up a lot of counter space
The Bottom Line: I recommend it unless counter space is a big deal to you. I happen to have a fairly big kitchen.
Review: I got this for Xmas'04 because I wanted to be able to make veggie juice at home. It works quite well, I haven't really had any problems with it.
