Will Grind Just About Everything except Perhaps Bones for Bread
Pros: Power, Bowl capacity, Mini-Bowl, Accessory Box, Polycarbonate bowl
Cons: Heavy
The Bottom Line: This powerhouse food processor has a large-capacity bowl, sharp blades and a sturdy footprint. It's definitely up for most processing tasks.
Review: Imagine, making coleslaw with a food processor!! For many using the food processor may be the only way you’ve created this barbecue-season salad, but not me. I’ve always done it the old-fashioned, finger-scraping way (that’s the extra... Read Full Review by pestyside, Apr 7, 2008
Pros: Power
Cons: Bowl and lid crack easily.
The Bottom Line: null
Review: I have experienced unsatisfactory performance with two bowls and covers for this unit in 5 years. Both sets cracked multiple times in same places- obviously a design or quality flaw. Had Cuisinart DLC-7 PRO from the 1980's which was superior in every... Read Full Review by lindy1991, Feb 17, 2008
Problems with Processor Bowl and Handle Beware
Pros: Excellent function for chopping, grating, dough and hard jobs.
Cons: Poor durability of the bowl and handle are deal breakers.
The Bottom Line: The poor durability of the clear plastic parts is a deal breaker for serious cooks. This unit would probably work best for an infrequent user.
Review: Although this machine functions well and has a very nice capacity, my bowl has broken twice since I purchased this in 2006. Having the mechanism that starts the motor in the handle of the bowl which I have found flimsy (It really is in need of babying.)... Read Full Review by billlaf, Jan 30, 2008
Pros: Looks great in chrome. Large bowl. Good build quality.
Cons: Leaks badly. Extremely difficult to clean. Bowls scratch easily.
The Bottom Line: The strong motor can't outweigh the difficult cleaning and ridiculous leakage.
Review: I've owned my KFP750 for about a year, so I figure I've had enough time with it to have some real perspective. When I was looking to replace my old Cuisinart I thought I'd go high-end; I use my processor all the time, so price was not really a concern... Read Full Review by boettger1, Mar 30, 2008
The Process is Simple: Buy KitchenAid
Pros: powerful, versatile, easy to use and clean
Cons: big and bulky, top occasionally recalcitrant
The Bottom Line: Sometimes I wish I didn't keep all my old appliances until they fall apart - maybe I'd have gotten a KitchenAid KFP750 Food Processor years ago!
Review: You'd think that a guy like me who's so fond of his chef's knives would turn up his nose at food processors - and, to some extent, I do. But even if one glories in the ring of fine German steel and the sensuous feeling of a sharp edge as it slices... Read Full Review by scmrak, Jun 21, 2007
Pros: Maybe Ok if you don't want to use it with liquids.
Cons: Inept lid design.
The Bottom Line: Get some other brand, perhaps Cuisinart, that has a better bowl design.
Review: Another writer here commented that the design of this food processor is flawed. I agree completely with that assessment and for the same reasons. When I used this machine to make mayonnaise for the first time, I was flabbergasted that the mixture of... Read Full Review by plamumba, Mar 22, 2007
Solid Motor&Stand, Cheap Plastic Bowl Shreds Itself, NO BLADES AVAILABLE
Pros: Solid, well built stand and motor
Cons: Plastic lid can be shredded. No Accessories available (December 2006)
The Bottom Line: null
Review: I bought a Kitchenaid KFP750 for a friend for Christmas 2005. The body is very heavy and solid, seems high quality. The plastic bowls feel cheap. One big problem- when the bowl is over filled with shredded food, it can push the blade up and shred the... Read Full Review by snortn, Dec 13, 2006
Spills out the bottom and ruins kitchen and clothing
Pros: It doesn't matter.
Cons: Design is fundamentally flawed.
The Bottom Line: null
Review: Regardless of the Kitchenaid food processor's other qualities, it is worse than useless, as it spills all of the"processed"ingredients out the bottom of the jar when it is removed from the stand. The contents flow lugubriously and unremitting onto the... Read Full Review by britcher, Sep 27, 2006
Better&less expensive than Cuisinart
Pros: Very efficient; quiet; stable; many extras; great warranty; wide selection of colors; good price.
Cons: Taller than most machines; storage case difficult to open and stores only 3 discs.
The Bottom Line: If you are in the market for a food processor, check out the KitchenAid models. Cuisinart no longer has the monopoly on great quality processors or their prices.
Review: I have always owned the Cuisinart brand food processors because I thought they were the original and therefore had to be the best. When my last Cuisinart, which was a 7-cup model, became too small for me I decided to invest in a larger capacity processor... Read Full Review by newtownbeans, Nov 22, 2005
Love the processor, hate product support
Pros: Quiet and Powerful
Cons: Accessories STILL not available. NO 2mm shredding blade or ANY accessories available.
The Bottom Line: null
Review: Comes with 2 slicing and ONE 4 mm Shredding Disk. Nice case for attachments. I bought this to replace my one bowl Cuisinart. I like the idea of the two sized bowls that come with it., but I find it doesnt mix as well as my Cuisinart. I also am miffed... Read Full Review by CUZNVIN, Mar 26, 2005
