KitchenAid KPTT890 Pro Line 4-Slice Toaster

KitchenAid KPTT890 Pro Line 4-Slice Toaster

4 Slice Toaster, With Wide Slots, Crumb Tray

KitchenAid® PRO LINE Series Toasters are engineered to be a near perfect blend of commercial durability, classic style, and contemporary performance for the home. We began the design process by looking at the essence of toasting in the commercial kitchen and quickly discovered that simplicity, dependability, and craftsmanship were the things most valued by the professionals. At that point, our goal became clear: we needed to build those essential qualities into a machine that offered a level of performance that couldnt be found anywhere else. The result is the PRO LINE Series 2 and 4 slice toasters.

See Review No More Cold Toast

Author's Rating:   4

Pros:  Toaster actually browns, not burns and keeps toast warm until ready to eat. Two-Year Warranty.

Cons:  Expensive!

The Bottom Line:  A good choice for a quality toaster.

Review:  I purchased a Kitchenaid Proline 4-Slice Toaster when the toast from the old unit started looking the same color when toasted as it did when I put the bread in. Taking the toaster out of the box, I was immediately pressed by how heavy the unit...  Read Full Review  by mgbland, Jun 18, 2008

See Review Dissapointing Performance

Author's Rating:   2

Pros:  Name brand and robust construction

Cons:  simply doesn't properly toast whole grain or other heavier breads..

The Bottom Line:  null

Review:  I was initially reluctant to spend major bucks on a toaster but the KitchenAid brand and the robust build won me over. Sad to say I am returning it to the retailer to get my money back. Do NOT buy this machine if you want to toast anything other then...  Read Full Review  by hiebert, Feb 13, 2008

See Review Toasted

Author's Rating:   1

Pros:  Looks

Cons:  Unreliable, cost of repairs

The Bottom Line:  null

Review:  I purchased one of these toasters and it broke down two months after the warranty ran out. The repairs, from an authorised KitchenAid agent, cost almost as much as the new toaster. The agent also said that the toaster had an inherent design fault. Its...  Read Full Review  by scorched, Nov 4, 2007

See Review WOW Toaster Best We've owned Yet

Author's Rating:   5

Pros:  Toasts perfectly well. Heavy Duty and looks good.

Cons:  A little hard to clean slice holder in slice cavity

The Bottom Line:  null

Review:  We've purchased the KitchenAid Pro Line Toaster a few weeks ago and we are totally satisfied with it. It has been a well thought toaster, heavy duty made, toasts perfectly well bread, bagel, English Muffin. What I like is that there is two seperate...  Read Full Review  by richardquebec, Oct 31, 2006

See Review Not"A"toaster....THE toaster! Review Update

Author's Rating:   5

Pros:  Perfect toast, solid construction, repeatable browning including the first cycle.

Cons:  Large. No automatic bread pop-up(which is the only auto function I would have liked).

The Bottom Line:  Commercial grade construction, attractive consumer styling, and perfect toast. Not a toaster; it's THE toaster.

Review:  There are so many toasters currently on the market, our quest was simple....find a toaster that made great toast. We weren't looking for customized bagel settings, sandwich programs, warming trays or digital control readouts. Bread in, get hot&toast...  Read Full Review  by deebee21d, Feb 24, 2006
