The Bottom Line: Gets everything very clean, uses so little water I wasn't sure it was working. Very little detergent, easy to use and manipulate settings.
Review: I was in love with my 10 year old Kenmore washer when it died unexpectedly about a week ago. After mourning it for about an hour, I started researching new machines (fixing the Kenmore would be about a $300-$500 expense so I decided the money was better... Pros: It looks nice.
Cons: Excessive vibration.
The Bottom Line: null
Review: I bought this washing machine from Home Depot and it has been a nightmare. It had excessive vibrations from day 1. LG wouldn't come out without charging a service call. They said it was an installation issue. Home Depot finally sent 2 bozos to look at... Read Full Review by markinls, Jul 31, 2008
Pros: Everything! It actually makes me excited about doing laundry. Cleans better, uses less water.
Cons: More expensive than top loaders and long cycles.
The Bottom Line: Great washer for anyone who wants energy and water efficiency. Must read manual, however, about drying door molding, leaving door open and cleaning lint trap.
Review: I bought this after reviewing opinions on the internet and checking consumer reports. I have been very happy with it. The clothes are cleaner than I have ever seen. They seem to rinse multiple times during the cycle. I was always concerned with my old... Read Full Review by momat141, Jun 9, 2008

The Bottom Line: I recommend this to anyone wanting to save a tremendous amount time doing laundry.
Review: I am very happy with this washer. I am disabled and doing laundry with this washer has saved me a lot of time and trips up and down the stairs. Pros: GREAT dryer. No pros for the washer.
Cons: See review.
The Bottom Line: Don't buy this product. And if you do, don't buy it from Home Depot and make sure you have a return policy of more than 72 hours.
Review: I bought this washer just over a year ago and noticed immediately that my clothes weren't getting thoroughly rinsed or even very clean. Everyone's first question was whether I was using the proper detergent in the correct amount which after a while... Read Full Review by moonwif, Mar 20, 2008

Excellent front loading washer
Pros: Cleans great, large number of washing options, is a high-efficiency model, good value.
Cons: It does sit a little low and accessing the front-load hatch does require some bending.
The Bottom Line: If you are in the market for a front-loading HE washer, then check this model out. It is much cheaper than some of the $1100 models and is comparably equipped.
Review: Background We bought this washer (with matching dryer - DLE0442W) in April 2007. We needed to replace our older Kenmore Calypso washer and matching dryer. Our old dryer was still functioning, but the Calypso washer was having numerous... Read Full Review by gowesti, Dec 30, 2007
Odor from machine, nasty smoggy smell (VERY UNHEALTHY)

Cons: Pricey but worth it.
The Bottom Line: null
Review: Purchased the WM0642H two years ago--Dec 2005. The choice was based on its solid build quality and the fact that it was (at least at the time) the most energy efficient, full sized washer available in the US market. We have not been disappointed. It... Read Full Review by mattdaddy, Dec 9, 2007
