The large, black-plated stainless steel watch case--measuring 1.7 inches wide and 0.4 inches thick--is topped by a ratcheting, unidirectional rotating bezel with engraved 5-minute Arabic numerals in white and coin-edged detailing for an improved grip. The black dial face is accented by white Arabic numeral markers, large white baton hands (with seconds hand), and a date function at 3 o'clock. It's completed by a comfortable polyurethane (PU) diver's strap in black.
Other features include a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, multi-jeweled Swiss quartz watch movement, double gasket crown, and 4-year battery life. Like others I have read here, I found the quality to be substandard for the price. I also found the company service to be horrid and arrogant. The band broke nearly right away and the pins come out of the softer polymer lugs. I like the look but would not and have not purchased another again.

The most appealing aspect of this watch is the illumination. It's by far the best 'glow-in-the-dark' analog watch I have seen. Unfortunately, the watch is not as tough as advertised. Within two years, my watch was sent back for water in the crystal and a bezel that popped off. In addition, I find that it scratches quite easily. Do I like the watch? Yes, I'll admit it's pretty cool. However, for $150 I thought it would hold up a bit better. By comparison, my 5-year old Casio G-Shock only needed a wrist band replacement and has proven to be much tougher. However, I would still recommend the Luminox for light outdoor use. Hope this helps.
