With Pulp Ejection
The new Omega Juicer 8005 is Omega's newest model to replace the older 8002 and 8001 models. The Omega 8005 utilizes a Patented Two-Stage System for even greater efficiency than than previous single gear juicer models. This single gear, masticating juice extractor is an appliance that will serve all of your juicing needs and much more. This unit is a multiple use appliance that actually does all of its uses very well. Most appliances built for more than one use tend to compromise one task or another. But the Omega Model 8005 Nutrition Center excels at all of its functions. This single gear machine turns at a slow 80 RPM's to ensure that nothing is lost through heated elements in your juice. This low speed also helps the Omega 8005 foam far less than a double gear style juicer.

Pros: Motor, assembly, cleaning, juicing possibilities
Cons: Has a hard time with pears and tomatoes
The Bottom Line: I am extremely happy with my purchase! I would recommend this to anyone looking for a juicer.
Review: I have had this juicer for a month now. I purchased it after some research and decided to go for this one because of the low RPM and masticating system. This juicer works really well. It will juice hard vegetables very well (carrots, beets) and juicy... Read Full Review by micol124, Feb 17, 2007
Good for personal use volume of juicing
Pros: EASY CLEAN UP...so important!, Strong juice, COmpact size
Cons: SLOW, Pricey, Small feed tube,
The Bottom Line: BUY for good personal use juicing. Cleans so easy, gives hearty juices, but for personal level volume. It's a lifetime type of appliance.
Review: Masticating or centrifugal juicer? I chose this Omega juicer 8005 because it gets you more juice but at a slower more cewing pace versus a quicker centrifugal type. I chose this brand over a Champion because it has more attachments and this one says it... Read Full Review by burtonkim, Dec 2, 2006

DO NOT BUY THIS JUICER (8005 or 8003) VERY POOR DESIGN
Pros: Easy clean up.
Cons: None, if you don't mind consuming plastic with your juice.
The Bottom Line: null
Review: The rotating auger grinds against the juicing insert actually scraping off trace amounts of the plastic!!! I tried 3 machines of the same model all displaying the same problem. The Co. Sent me a replacement one afterwards, but the same issue persisted... Read Full Review by me2also, Jul 9, 2006
Pros: Very easy to clean.
Cons: Clogs with some fruits.
The Bottom Line: I would recommend this juicer to anyone who wants a high quality juicer with multiple functions for a good price.
Review: I recently bought the Omega 8005 after owning a jr. juicer for awhile. While shopping for juicers, I wanted a juicer that would juice wheatgrass, be easy to clean, be sturdy enough for a juice fast, and have a low RPM. Since owning the Omega 8005,... Not a bad juicer for the price
Pros: Great price, easy to use, great for spinach.
Cons: Not as good with tomatoes as I hoped.
The Bottom Line: Great juicer for a great price considering how expensive masticating juicers can be.
Review: It took a few months of research but I finally bought a juicer and opted for this one based on my research. It seems the consensus is that masticating juicers are the best in terms of securing the nutritional value of your juice. The juicer is... Read Full Review by nowtide, Mar 26, 2006

Review: I used a cheap juicer before that was a lot of work to clean. When my husband and I decided to try wheatgrass juice I researched what kind of juicer to buy and ended up with the Omega 8005. I am very glad I did. It works easy enough and start to... Read Full Review by kg888, Jan 25, 2006
The best bang for your nutritional (and financial!) buck.
Pros: Excellent quality juice, low foam. Easy to clean. Quiet. High quality construction. Attractive design.
Cons: Some chopping of food required.
The Bottom Line: If you want a quality juicer and are juicing for health reasons, don't waste your money on a centrifugal juicer. Buy this one. Canadians: www.earthnotions.ca has good deals on it.
Review: The Omega 8005 juicer is a single screw-type juicer, suitable for juicing a wide range of fruits, vegetables and leafy greens - including things that are difficult to juice such as pine needles or wheatgrass. The auger spins at 80 RPM. At this low... Read Full Review by gkirk2000, Aug 31, 2005

Review: I've never owned a juicer before, but after all the reading I did decided this would be a good choice. A lot of people compare this juicer to other ones, but I can't make any comparison. I purchased the Omega 8005 because it is considered to be... Read Full Review by chrisestes, Apr 12, 2005
