See Review It's a document reader, and that's it

Author's Rating:   1

Pros:  Documents to Go, Headphone Jack, SD card slot

Cons:  Graffiti, wifi, bluetooth

The Bottom Line:  Don't buy it unless you just want to read documents. Bluetooth and wifi features are unrefined.

Review:  When I was in college I was a big fan of the Sony CLIE (2001-2003). The PDA broke and I decided to get a Palm TX last summer to replace it. I'm focusing on practical usability here. I'll address the features and how they work in real life 1...  Read Full Review  by afhouston, Jul 5, 2008

See Review The device I didn't know that I would like so much!

Author's Rating:   5

Pros:  Handles just about every task that I would want it to

Cons:  Operating System update seems unlikely to happen

The Bottom Line:  Buy this, you may not know you need it now but believe me you do!

Review:  I had never used a PDA before, I was always of the opinion that they seemed like a neat device but what did I really need one for since I work at the computer all day and have a laptop at home. Anyway, my birthday was coming around and I saw the Palm TX...  Read Full Review  by myke_blakeman, Jun 13, 2008

See Review It's not perfect, but it is the best palm I've owned.

Author's Rating:   4

Pros:  Last of the 1yr warranty palms. Wifi, Bluetooth

Cons:  No Camera? 802.11b where's the G wifi? expensive, awful sync cable,no Mass storage device support

The Bottom Line:  If you want a PDA that offers Wifi, bluetooth and Infrared, this is for you. If you need a camera bundled, keep looking! Solid buy IF you buy extended warranty.

Review:  I don't consider myself as a novice or beginner when it comes to Palms. I've owned a Palm Pilot, Palm III, Sony Clie TJ27, Zire 31,Zire 72s, and The Palm T/X. Hands down the T/X is the best offering from Palm to date, but it's not without flaws...  Read Full Review  by ttheobal, Jan 27, 2008

See Review Is the palm still relevant ?

Author's Rating:   3

Pros:  A lot of new features

Cons:  Palm OS is antiquated.

The Bottom Line:  The Palm as a platform is dead, no point in purchasing this obsolete device.

Review:  Overview The Palm T|X is the top of the line hand held personal data assistant manufactured by Palm. It is the most advanced of the traditional Palm PDAs, using a similar operating system and possessing pretty much the same interface. The T|X is...  Read Full Review  by blakdogg, Jan 26, 2008

See Review You don't have to be a professional to have a PDA

Author's Rating:   4

Pros:  Easy to use, many features, Wi-Fi

Cons:  expensive, slow Wi-Fi

The Bottom Line:  T/X is good for the professional/student but a little much for the non-professional/student if it's just used for contacts and scheduling. It has a nice easy to read screen.

Review:  I started with Palm handspring devices over 6 years ago and have worked my way up through the ranks to the T/X. (The T/X is my fifth device). I must say I still own but no longer use or like the Treo 650- I went back to my Motorola Razr and Tungsten E...  Read Full Review  by bwillis3, Jan 15, 2008

See Review Not An iPhone, But A Worthy Alternative With Mature Technology

Author's Rating:   4

Pros:  Beautiful 480x320 display, very good battery life, built-in WiFi and web browser.

Cons:  Slight occasional lag when entering text, no built-in camera or voice recorder, non-standard HotSync connector.

The Bottom Line:  Only those that love high-end technology should consider the T|X for its hefty price tag, but its WiFi, long battery life and beautiful display make it worthwhile.

Review:  Palm has, more or less, gotten out of the PDA game. Ironically, the pioneer in personal data assistants has pretty much focused its company's energies on a market it actually helped create: the smartphone. Their industry hit, the Treo, paved the way...  Read Full Review  by truegenius, Jan 14, 2008

See Review NOT a true TFT screen

Author's Rating:   3

Pros:  Nice and easy to use, but forget about seeing the screen outdoors.

Cons:  Screen absolutely sucks when you go outside, you can't see a thing on it.

The Bottom Line:  null

Review:  If anyone thinks they are getting a real TFT (Transflective) screen with the Palm TX, think again. Personally I think there should be a class-action lawsuit against Palm for advertising it on their website as having a'TFT screen'. It's absolute BULL...  Read Full Review  by holliday360, Oct 17, 2007

See Review Is the TX the best PDA yet from Palm?

Author's Rating:   4

Pros:  Built in WIFI, small thin design, screen very readable and good color.

Cons:  That #*&%%! connector. (see above)

The Bottom Line:  A good unit that is somewhat dated but still has some life!

Review:  This is my third Palm device, My first was a Tungsten E, liked it but after three years upgraded to a T5 Palm, that was given
