Pros: Compact, very lightweight, sturdy, reliable, versatile, attractive design, travel-friendly, decent online prices.
Cons: Some stability loss with semi-pro SLR's. When panning, center column can unscrew if not tightened.
The Bottom Line: I can EASILY recommend the VCT-1500L to anyone except Semi-Pro SLR users. Those with a 30D/40D/D200/D300, it will suffice as a great travel tripod, but not as a primary tripod.
